Help with Star Sat SR-X550D Super

Hello everybody,
I bought a Star Sat SR-X550D Super while I was living in Algeria and it worked properly.

Now I have moved to Spain and, after orienting my dish to Hotbird position, I see that my new bought receiver (Fone*star) works properly but I'm having problems with the one bought in Algeria.

I have get into _http://www.satsw.com/ to try to find a patch or a download to solve the reception problems but I have found the following obstacle:

Apparently there are no downloads at all for SR-X550D Super, only for SR-X550D, and once downloaded I cannot open them.

I'm not quite sure if the reception problems have something to see with the fact that I bought the receiver in Northern Africa and now I'm in southern Europe or if my problem can be solved checking on Star Sat website.

Can anyone help me? Does anyone have the software needed for this case? Have yo got a link where I can download them?

try the satdw site, and download the 550D_super_20080205 file. it works; just make sure to start your receiver on a channel like France4 or Infosport, and let it do its thing ("updating data...")
