by accedent found than nigerian forum - and find a post about home made dish
a small offest and a big 550 cm prime focus
as you will see in pic they make the mold from conncret thin cover it with fiber matte cure it and wait till its hard and after it looks liks they cover the fiber with aluminum foil ( strange )
iam sure that big dish ( 550 cm ) has no more efficent than a 3 meter well known brand like DH or primesat
can i made tow conncrete mold both identical - use one as a male and the other one as a femal - but large sheet of thin steel between to be copresed to creat the dish
i can make it 3 sheets of meatal insted of one so the middile one which will be the dish will copress between two smoth surfaces and come out with more smoth surface -- the concret is more rough than a steet surface
this is a cheep option to make a large dish but with very poor quilty but the big size might compenseat for the lack of eficancy ( i cannot offord to buy 3 m or bigger amercan or europian dish )
i olso need to ask - i have a very old 230 cm prime focus aluminum with lots of damage ( its 22 years old dish ) and its a deep one ( 47 cm deep )
can i make 2 moldes but only half dish ( 520 cm ) and but that old dish between the two moldes to get ( 250 cm x 270 cm ) offest dish or the dish surface be un even and cramped
