Many thanks for that - Oh, if life were only that simple! The reason I’m in this position is because my analogue receiver suddenly lost DFS (F1 free training), after the LNB rainshield perished. I only ever thought to replace that with another single LNB as my dish is motorised. Question - does a twin LNB not contain 2 LNBs side-by-side, (one of which must be optimal, and the other sub-optimal because of the physical offset)? Or do you mean dual-output (single LNB ‘feedhorn’ but 2 outputs)? If the former, then tuning on for one will yield poor results for the other if I were to “watch one channel and record another”? I must admit - a retailer said I mustn’t have both units on at the same time as it would damage one or both units! Or is this like the urban myth that if you type “Google” into Google the interweb goes into meltdown :-) In answer to the other points, The Topfield has 2 tuners, 2 inputs and 2 outputs.
