Depending on exactly how and where the dish is mounted, there is an argument that it is better for the dish to fold / disintegrate in sections under wind pressure than to sheer off. Or, worse case scenario, for the dish to hold but at the expense of the house / garage wall etc..I have a 1.2M mesh dish and have frankly never been able to measure a significant difference between that and solid dishes including Channel Master. Given all the predictions concerning increased storms, higher wind speeds and so on, I'd now think three times before putting a large dish on an exposed position.</blockquote>
