Does it update on a phone line?
Or by satellite?

I know it needs then "keep alive signal" every 4 or 6 weeks ... And is about to buy a Sky Box (Panasonic) with the card in and wanted to know when I'm from Denmark how to update the card...

It should be possible right? I think it is by satellite but needs someone to tell me.

Hoping for a Quick reply!

Best regards

Once activated, the card updates via satellite.

The activation process itself however, does require 2-way communication with Sky of some sort.

Yes, as long as you have sufficient signal on the necessary transponders. Search the forum for 'default transponders' for more detail, as this is something we don't have to worry about in the UK, as we get all transponders very easily.
