How to connect my reciever to my PC!

Hello, im new here and i like to know how it is possible to connect my STRONG reciever to my PC. And any softwares to make changes whith channels. !!! Please i need help :confused:confused

Well normally you use either a serial connector or more often a null modem cable you will have to check which yours uses, the problem these days is that a lot of computers produced do not have serial connectors only USB. From my experience some of the USB to serial connectors are unreliable. The diagram below is for the null modem connections

Triple Dragon, Dreambox 8000, Echostar AD3000ip, TBS6522,6925,6983 PCie cards.
Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+

Most PC's with only USB have (or should have) a 10-way IDC female connector for adding a COM port hidden somewhere on the motherboard.

Serial ports on a bracket that cable to the IDC connector are easily available cheaply online.
