How to programme cards?

Can anyone out there tell me how to programme cards? I have never done this before, but would like to learn! I am buying a USB Infinity Phoenix programmer. Anyone who would like to introduce me to this hobby? And how do I know which card I shold use in each case?

Hoping to hear from some of you guys and girls out there!

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

When it arrives, post again in the thread, then we can give you a blow by blow account. I'm not close to mine at the moment, as I'm on holiday, but can probably help. There is probably a tutorial on the forum somewhere. :)
