How to scan the R and L channels

Hi Guy

I can watch the 5°W Ku-band programs but now I´d like to get in Cband, because I have one(C-Band LNB 13°K Gold) . How to the convert the R and L frequencies(circular) in dreambox(5620) as long as they are not memorized in the receiver? I read about all the tricks but not for R and L:
Lo/H 5150
Lo/V 5750
Tresh 11700
The dish(CM 135cm) ist on 5°w. can someone help me out?

come on your experts! It is cold out here, I can´t manage it. The c band ist on the dish but no signal. give me a hint please, what do I do wrong?

Hi m8 ..
In order to scan L and R circular polarised channels ...you first have to convert the circular polarised signals to linear H & V ...
This requires the insertion of a dielectric plate into the mouth of the lnb at a predefined angle ..
Do you have this plate installed in the throat of the lnb ?
without it you will have a much reduced signal from L & R channels ...if indeed anything at all ..

Remember that 5w has circular tp so first of all you need a dielectric plate !
My opinion is that you won't get all the channels from 5w 'cause your dish is small and it's an offset one.For C-Band reception is better thr prim focus

On the other hand for sure yoi'll receiver Libian Ch, KTN Kenya, ORTM Benin , RTG1 , Teleafrica Gabon and miss DW-TV A frica, Cameron, Canal 2 Benin.

Pay attention:

L=V
R=H

Try with an another receiver that performs better then DM in c band for example Kaon
Have a good luck

As indicated in my profile, I have a dielectric plate as well. I´m intending to view all the Channels underlined by Doktorofsat. As reference, I´m gonna use the line made by izefisherman:
