humax CI 8100 - help needed

hi

i have the above box but want to search for a satellite that isnt currently on its satellite list....can i manually add satellites to my reciever/and will this added satellite show up when i move the dish...or is it a matter of needing to update the software for the receiver?

i have lost my manual...and cant find it online...

any help appreciated.

Had a quick look through and it looks like that you can manually add satellites and their transponder information, so a software update shouldn't be required.

Although it is worth a look on the support site anyway, as software may have been released to fix any bugs, also you might be able to down load and up to date satellite/transponder list, to save you doing it manually.
