Hi all I have had my hummy for a couple of years now and have used all your info with some success - thanx all. My problem is that the hummy threw a wobbly when I tried to add Thor to my list (currently astra 2, astra 1, sirius, hotbird). Now it won't sync in to any sat !! so I guess the software is corrupt and shall download the new one via rs232 cable (have used it before). My real issue is that when I do this everything is reset. My kit relies on a diseq1.2 motorised modified sky dish that works in London area great. Only problem is that each sat must be manually tweaked once software installed, as rig is obviously home made (not 100% perfect) and it is bolted to a non-vertical drainpipe (yes and it really works ok normally). Is there any way I can use the upload I have just taken so that when I subsequently tailor the search channels to find any one satellite and do a re-calculate all sats it would use my previous settings as opposed to the 'standard' ones? It does take me a while to recalibrate each sat for optimal smoke. FYi I have 'lost' itv hd recently but it was never on a strong channel anyhow. Lastly there are a number of sites that offer humax downloads for adding key updates for other humax models. Can these humax software versions be used on the 2000 or are they model specific ? I currently use a dragon cam and wondered in this is superfluous were someone to have cracked the embedded linux - any assistance here ? Thanx all
