I cant isntall TV eye link on my other TV - strange problem

hey all
i have a huge problem.. i have Pace 2200 Sky Box.. and Im trying to install TV Eye Link
but its nothing is happening..

i know its services and the 401 but i cant press 0 botton everytime i do that it takes me to the picture system which si on no. 1 i cna press 4 and then 0 1 but nothing happens..
I even have the coax arial wire in the correct or RF outlet one..

please help me..

Services > 4 > 0 > 1 >>> SELECT


Miss that last step at your peril.

It is supposed to be less than instinctive - best advice is to carry out the sequence, including SELECT as the final step, without looking at the screen.

If it's an old slow box, then make sure there is a gap between the different parts of the code, so as Tivu says, Services, then 4 (or System Setup), then 01 Select.

PS On old remotes, often the "0" button is knackered from over use.

wow thnx for the reply.. i actually tried what u guys said nothing happens..
could it be that i have pace 2200 does it have some problems??

i tried with both remotes..


this one came with my pace 2200 sky box is a blue color remote and is very light weight..
cant find a pic of it to show it..

Sometimes the zero [0] button may need to be pushed harder [as it often gets used]. Once you access the installer menu > Rf outlets, you'll need to switch Rf power supply to ON.

i tried everything i could.. even pressed it and pressed it no use..

btw the remote with the box was a brand new..

but im a bit confused.. when we go on services > we see the no. 1-2-3-4-5-6 but after pressing 4 > its comes in system setup but there is no menu with 0
isnt ther eany other way of doing it..

sorry for asking too much i tried my level best..

No there isn't a zero option, if there was it wouldn't work, if you are waiting for a new screen to show after pressing "0", you will be waiting a long time.

So when in System Setup, press "0", then "1", then "Select" in quick succession, I have yet to find a box on which this doesn't work.

And, as stated earlier, you can reduce the capacity for confusion by trusting what we say and pressing the entire sequence without looking at your TV screen. It is what you expect to see that is the problem, so ignore it. Many have experienced the same issue. It's designed to prevent "casual" access ...............

i have a last question
how can i watch two different things with my dish with tv eye link on the other tv
coz whenever we watch one channel and other tv want to see something else it changes the channels on both

how can i prevent that

You can't. You can only view over the TV eye what the satellite receiver is tuned to and showing on the other TV.

If you want different programmes then that needs another receiver, a different LNB and extra cabling!
