Even when your team wins.. penalties are a hell of stressful way to decide a game. Must be stressful for the players as well :p

I got lucky - finished watching a recording of "Lewis" that SWMBO wanted for our Saturday night entertainment, and went to ITV just a couple of minutes before Drogba ("Shut up, Drogba!") equalised.

The rest was pretty darn tense.

Yeah they do at least and Newcastle have Europa league matches next season which is something but people don't seem to care about this competition anymore the original European cup to win.

Well I certainly care about Newcastle being back in Europe. I can remember them winning the Inter Cities Fairs Cup in 1969 which was the season I began supporting them. That cup then changed into the UEFA cup and now the 'Europa League'. Sadly, I don't think the clubs who qualify for this competition hold it in much esteem because of it's lesser financial rewards. I hope Newcastle have a good run in the Europa League and Pardew gets the funds to strengthen his squad.
