My Satellite Setup
Philips DBox2 with 2 Flashes now, AZbox HD in future, no dish yet but I got the permission...

One complete dish 1m x 80cm, with Superjack polarmount motor and twin LNB to be taken down from 1st floor [London SW17] and put up on neighbour's terrace [Latimer Road tube], hopefully quite easily, as it's all complete... Cable left attached and so on... Please, PM me.

No pi**takers price wise, please... My friend is a poorly paid teacher with a newborn and a wife to support, which is why I gave him my Sammy and the motorised dish, as I moved abroad...

My Satellite Setup
A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Not in my area, however SW17 to Latimer Road is quite a trip through traffic in a van, even on a Sunday.

Can you confirm that there is a clear line of site to satellites at the final destination, and there are no planning restrictions.

What is parking like outside the two addresses ?

What other kit (receiver) is included with the system ?

I would estimate the minimum time required to take down/travel/reinstall correctly and set up would be in the region of five to six hours

Hi!

At Latimer Road I already put up a fixed 80 x 60 cm [I think] dish with Monoblock for him there [19 + 13'E]. The L shaped pole I put up might not be strong enough for the motorised dish, though - not sure [only 4 holes drilled, if memory serves]... In that case you might need to put up the original, bigger/thicker/longer pole, held by two little "arms" [whatever the technical term], some 6 holes needed between the two of those little arms holding the pole. As I mentioned before, that motorised setup needs to be taken down from SW17, from the first floor, shouldn't be more than 1/2 hour all together.

The Latimer Road setup: it would be put up on a balcony, no need for a ladder etc. So, no probs there. His neighbour allowed it as he himself has a dish up, as do other neighbours at Latimer Road. It's on a concrete part of the building next to his balcony door, eyes hight. Simple.

My PE teacher friend would need a Vbox to move the dish, though. Sammy has the DiSEqC protocol, which VBox can "translate" into polarmount commands for the SuperJack motor.

No probs parking whatsoever - at either location. Easy-peasy!

[I might set up another little job for you, in the same day: to put up the smaller, monoblock setup from LR somewhere else, though...? Not sure yet. Depends on what I hear from another friend of mine... If you're interested?]
