IF NTL get half of the Premiership right, who would be on your 'Virgin Sports' team?
If anyones been following the rights battle for 2007-2010, they'll know that half the rights, apparently including Package A (23 first choice games) , are still up for grabs. If NTL/Virgin were to get them, who would you like to see on the Virgin Sports channel. Heres my choice: Main Presenter: James Richardson (currently doing Football Italia on Bravo) Reserve Presenter: Jonathan 'Jonny' Gould (currenty doing MLB Baseball on Five) The Pundits: Gary Pallister (currently BBC) Ruud Gullit (currently doing Sky Champions League) Peter Reid (former Sunderland, Leeds, Coventry (and probably someone else by then) manager) Teddy Sheringham (when he's not playing!) (Graeme Souness - if he still hasn't got a job!) (Steve Bruce - if he gets sacked by Birmingham City!) Commentary Pundits: Joe Jordan (currently doing Football Italia on Bravo) - preferred with Brackley as a team David Pleat (currently Sky and TWI) Lee Dixon (currently BBC) The Commentators: Peter Brackley (currently doing Football Italia on Bravo) Gerald Sinstadt (currenty BBC - I doubt he'd leave though) Barry Davies (formerly BBC) Peter Drury (currently on ITV) The Pitchside Reporters: Gabriel Clarke (currently ITV) Guy Havald [mispelt] (currently at Sky) PS. If anyone's noticed, thats three Peters! What team would you have?
