hey all i'm new member here... i would like to start questioning :)

i'm looking forward to get a dreambox so i would like to know:

1) connections
1.1) net connections.
1.2)Dish connections.
i'll use 1 dish (1 LNB single port) to feed my receiver "nokia"
+ dreambox that i'm willing to purchase.

2) dream box setup to open showtime, orbit and ART channels.

note: i need support in connecting my nokia + dream box using one LNB.
{i'll use each Separately one at a time}

You will need access to a motorised dish if you want all three packages as they are on different satellites.

Unlike the new generation of card share boxes that give you automatic access to some middle eastern packages the dreambox wont - you will need to find a card share ring to join. (DONT ask for - or offer shares - here)

If your looking at going motorised stay away from the Dreambox 500. They are notoriously bad at controling DISEqC motors.

Save your money up and go for either a 600PVR or even better a 7020 or 7025.

If you want to connect your Dreambox and Nokia from the same lnb you can either go through a manual a-B switch (From Maplins @ about £6) or if your Nokia has one you can use the IF pass through. Unfortunately you will only be able to use one receiver at a time.

If you want to do it so you can use both at the same time you will have to get a twin lnb to get a separate feed.
