The official ISRO maps for the Insats are useless (someone has just drawn a line around India ) Anyone got any better ones?

The scenario for ku is not much optimistic bros.The Birds referred by member 91040 are available in some parts of north India Only.
In my location I am unable to find Yamal@90 Ku,Asiasat 3s Ku,ABS-1 Ku North is rarely available,Telestar 10 Ku could show me 2 channels only out of 20 even on my 8 feet solid dish.

What Indian sattelite channels can we get. On Free to Air we do pick up lot of indian channels, which show pay option, the freeto Air box doesnt have smart card facility and I dont know how to pay for such a service. Any help is appreciated. email- Im_a_rule_breaker@nomail.com

You can easily get Doordarshan channels from Intelsat 10 at 68.5°E 4034 V19559-3/4 includes DD sports and other channels.

Indeed. in Bucharest, RO I can receive Ku band of Insat 93.5E, one TP constantly. It seems this sat is much more powerful then a hotbird Their map indicate that all over India Ku can be received with small dishes. C-band works perfectly.
