Hi,
hope this is the right section, as this is my first post.
I have a bog standard minidish from Sky. I think the Sky installers did a poor job setting up the dish, since with any rain my signal strength goes to nearly a zero.
I have people coming over tomorrow and I'm worried that with a bit of rain, we can't watch telly due to signal loss, so I'm hoping to have this sorted before that...
The dish is set up in the garden, on the ground level on a normal pole. The trouble is that on the direction of the signal, there are some trees, which I think block (part of) the signal when it rains.
If there's someone who would be able to come over to check the alignment and possibly fit a 60cm dish and a longer pole so that the trees would not be a problem.
Also in the near future, I'm interested in putting up a multiroom, which would require additional cabling to be run and possibly some other additions.
If you have the time for a quick fix job, PM me asap with your contact details. Since this is urgent, I'll checking the PMs regularly today and tomorrow.
Thanks!
