Yes back again it was a power off because i check to move the dish and nothing but after 5 minutes back to increase the level of signal. I have replaced the lnb for the invacom to check if could be a lnb issue. Let see if happen again.

We have notice this days more or less 20 days ago a decrease of power in my installation 1db from 13db to 12db or even 11db in cloudy days.

Here in Spain we are severals that notice the decrease somebody had the same issue?

Very good that you reported the drop of the signal on Intelsat 901,because the first time I noticed this,in February 2021,I thought it was normal to decrease since I am outside the satellite coverage area. That's why I was more worried that I didn't adjust my lnb well than the satellite, because the signal drop was over 2dB.And with all my efforts to get the same SNR again as the one I had at the end of 2020,unfortunately I didn't make it.
Now I'm more at peace with the situation, because I also thought it was a satellite problem rather than my antenna.
For comparison, I will post the spectrum at 27.5W from Dec 2020 and Feb 2021, when I noticed a major signal difference in my area in two moments in time.
In fact,we both confirm the same thing from two geographical areas of the continent. This does not mean that other users confirm or on the contrary if they have noticed the drop of the signal to 27.5W.This only reminds us that Intelsat 901 was brought to this position as a provisional solution when Intelsat 907 left.

A lot of users in another forum have reported it and it has happend/started like late December - beginning of January.

Here in Stockholm
11495 V was 8.3 - 8.8 dB, it went down to 7,3dB - 7.7dB, in cloudy days 6.8 -7 dB
One of my strongest signals on this bird is/was 11608 V (Icelandic TVs) i had 11.8dB -12,2dB. And now i get 8.0dB - 8.3dB, in cloudy days 7dB
( on a Triax TD65 65 cm antenna but i have similar readings with my Selfsat H50 D4 too)

Many thanks for info. In early January I played with my dish 120 cm and I was not able to lock 11495V for several try. In November it was OK, so I supposed my dish is broken. Now I know is not. I am going to try it again. Location 100 km north of Wienna.

The drop of the signal on Intelsat 901 is also noticeable in SLovenia with 120 cm. Before it was 12.5 db, not it is between 11 and 11.5 depending on the weather.
So 1 - 1.5 db drop...i would tip on the Brexit :-)...BBC don't want to see us watching their programmes...

Maybe. Who knows? Maybe it has something to do with the start of Siminn TV broadcastin on 11608V. Maybe power management?

Siminn tv? Siminn is there since at least a year or two. i dont believe that this is somehting to do with siminn... the only thing that comes and goes is Simmin Sport that ive reported it to flysat (that A.Sevov is me). They (Intelsat) have maybe slightly shifted the beam towards to atlantic or just have reduced the power of the beam...

How does it look for you guys in Britain? Getting higher SNR/dB?

FC GD, I haven't noticed any change here in the UK. I live midway between Bristol and Birmingham and the MER=16.5dB. I use a CM 1.2m dish with an Octagon OSLO LNB. SimonE.

Indeed, additional 0.5 db down...it was 11.2, now max 10.5 - 10.7 db...really sad...maybe it is weather condition that play a big role this days...

I didn't say in the previous answer, but it's good to know that 11609 V, 4374, 3/5 is the carrier of an IPTV stream(FTA) from Island. It has two streams, one tv and one radio.Fortunately it is still active and can be seen in real time, smoothly,as if you were watching on TV,provided that the signal to be strong.
To see and hear these streams you need a dvb card,TSReader app,VLC or Daum players.

...
A new old news,IPTV-over-Sat RiminnRadio streams are active, and not as reported on FlySat.
Checked 11609 V,5723,2/3,8PSK and both streams are working, despite the weaker signal in my area.

Ok satesco but you ve reported it today (it says satesco) . does it mean that youve reported it wrong and flysat removed them from the webbsite? i have stronger signal here and Ive just checked it and i see that everything is there. Simmon tv and Simmon Sport (that ive reported it earlier this year) and radios are still there. We do need to find a better way to report and sending our updates to flysat, we need to be in sync and verify those changes ( i know that flysat verifies them time to time.)

FlySat changed the parameters today after my report, but kept the previous information, for reasons known only to them. That's why I also came back to this iptv-over-sat streams,so that those interested know that it exists.
On this occasion I also discovered more radio streams on 228.5.6.7, which I thought it was good to know.
For intervening on the topic,I'm "punishing" you :) for listening to them.

Satesco, i have a dedicated antenna for this bird and i do scan this satellite often. I know that you scan it too.
i love this satellite for all those radio channels.
There are a lot of narrow signals and really low SR vallues on this bird. Most of them carries radio and audio.
My hardware can handle low SR vallues like 45ksym and the narrowest signal that i regularly listen is Spirit Radio Ireland on 11691V with SR: 83 ksym/s FEC: 8/9 . here is a ts dump

Wow! Symbol rates under 100. Nice work!

Those all seem to be feeds for Irish FM radio networks I think.

I’ve had a listen to these and worked out some of the radio stations. The 32kbps MP3 quality is really awful! I wonder what on earth these feeds are for… In any case, they’re mainstream Icelandic radio networks -

dump_0200_sub001.ts - FM957
dump_0200_sub003.ts - Bylgjan
dump_0200_sub004.ts - K100
dump_0200_sub007.ts - X977

I couldn’t work out what 005 and 006 are.

Thanks @FC GD for "dump.ts" file, especially you got it on 11691 V,with 83 symbol rate! Actually I discovered this symbol rate now in 2017(#15),but I didn't know how to exploit it,but also because I didn't think that they broadcast on satellite media content with such a parameter.
Sincere congratulations that you succeeded :-clap,but also for the other low symbol rate.I suppose you managed to lock this parameter with the same IQmonitor(!?)
Since you've confessed your passion for this position, 27.5W, then I can say we are in the same "boat".Since 1977,when I discovered the CMT(in analogic time),and later the BBC package,on {than)Intelsat 907, I have been watching this satellite ever since. But I have another reason, probably the same as you,I'm a weak-signal hunter, and this satellite has no coverage at all in my area,as the footprint shows.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, apart from the BBC packet, this satellite doesn't encourage you to look for it,especially those who are in the centre of the spot, and who don't have serious motives to scan it too often.
To make up for this lack of signal,I started to dig through the transponders to discover some "content" beyond the cold Data each transponder has activated. And despite the weak signal I have in my area, I gradually came across some "deposits" I never thought I would discover.Exaggerating a bit, instead of a big antenna to help me get a strong signal, I only had at hand...patience, and of course, the dvb card apps.It seems you had more patience than me,if you came across the latest Irish radio programs posted by FlySat.By the way, what hardware did you use?
If you didn't know, here's what else you should know about at least Icelandic streams at 11609 V.As you already know,to find out the two streams, you have to choose pid 512.But if you do not want to look for this pid, then the normal PID is 480,which has a Live program activated, but whose content can not determine it because it runs as if it were encrypted,or rather, appears as generic streams although it is packetized.
You may have noticed this, but I thought I'd post this stream so that people who are looking for stream at 11609 V would know.
Now I'm curious,if we are both outside the Intelsat 901 footprint: please post the signal you have in your area from this position.Thanks.
Here is what I got last night in my area with the 1.50m antenna at 27.5E in Ku-band.

@Adam792,
I do not know if it is necessary to repeat myself, but the signal on Intelsat 901 is WEAK on my area, especially on transponders with low symbol rate. The fluctuation is quite large, ~2 or 3dB,and because of this errors occur when recording the stream. But even when the signal is better, especially in the evening,it still varies, and then I'm not surprised that the quality is,as you say,"awful".
I am grateful to you anyway that you are able to accurately identify the radio stations in the stream package. Looks like you're a good listener of local radio programs :)

Sorry - no I don’t mean that the quality of your recording is bad! The sound quality of the 32kbps MP3 audio that the provider is transmitting is bad, that’s why I wonder what these feeds are for, as they’re a very poor quality version of these radio stations.
