Hi chaps,
On some devices, it is possible to plug in a cable with an IR sensor on the end of it. This would allow me to place the sensor anywhere I want, away from the receiver and still operate it.
In my office/man-cave, my receiver is pretty much behind me with a TV. However, I have a small TV on my desk connected to it and I have to point the remote backwards to operate the receiver. Could I, in theory (and practice, solder another sensor to the existing IR points in the receiver and put the sensor on my desk? Any caveats with doing that?
Thanks
