irdeto access on laptop

are there any drivers for the irdeto access cam p/n 901275? whenever i insert the cam in my laptop which is acer travelmate 4000, winxp just says hardware pcmcia mtd2...found and searches for drivers. pls help.

901275 can't be changed on a laptop.

And the older cams that can be changed need windows 95/98/ME.

are you saying that one can put a cam on a pcmcia slot on a laptop and do something with it?

Yes, but only specific old cams which have limited uses now.

You can change the cam into a different version. With old Irdeto cams you can load various versions of Freecam. The Aston103 can be turned into a nagra or crypto cam.

But these cam conversions have little use now.

Yes, used to program my old Freecam with the laptop, those were the days.

You can still do the Matrix and X-CAM with the laptop, or a PCMCIA card in a PC.
