As I'm refurbishing my 1.5 and soon a 1.2, I dug out some data sheets from way back. I also have the installation manual for the 1.5m. If anyone wants that, please PM me.

The 1.5m IRTE reflector is still about the best there is.

How about the 1.8m IRTE?
Any good like Channel Master?
What would be a fair second-hand price?

Some SAT-related hardware.

N-E from Riga
How about the 1.8m IRTE?
If it is assembled from 4 segments, than performance in Ku maybe not as good as solid dishes do.

I wouldn't buy a four piece IRTE 1.8m unless it was really cheap.

What is considered real cheap?
The dish will be mainly for C-band, but I have a PF Ku-band LNB too and would like maximum performance for Ku-band too.

To understand what you mean by that, I should have a comparison with another 180 cm dish.
Why don't you just tell me what you mean by 'two thirds of a dish'.
I'm guessing that you mean that the 180 cm IRTE dish is just 2/3 of what you should/could expect, so effectively: it's just a 120 cm dish.

A 1.2m does not given the performance of two thirds of a 1.8m, it would be just under two thirds from a mental calculation.

Well, long story short I'm not going to buy it.
