Is ART 5 & 6 really on Hotbird ?

I haved done a rescan on the whole of Hotbird and also scanned just the relevant transponder but there is no 5 & 6.

I have the Humax 2000

Can anyone help me locate these two channels please ?

hi,
they should both be there on the humax on hotbird,on my humax they show up as
Art world cup 1 arabesque
Art world cup 2 arabesue
then next to them on the list is the other 4 art sports channels 1/2/3/4
i didn't get them till i installed the new firmware last night,see the humax 2000 thread for the new firmware download.
i can get you all the figures from my humax to input the channels manually if you want?

I am still 1.0.0.4 so that maybe the issue ?

hi,yes the firmware that came out this week,i got these details for you using the formula for neo software that is on the humax site,i downloaded all my channel details to the pc and the read out for art 5+6 was as follows

art worldcup 1
transponder 12014 H 27500
service id 01DE
PMT PID 010A
video pid 020A
audio pid 02EF
pcr pid 008A
subtitle pid 2000
teletext pid 2000

art world cup 2
transponder 12014 H 27500
service id 01E0
PMT PID 010B
video pid 020B
audio pid 02F9
pcr pid 008B
subtitle pid 2000
teletext pid 2000

you could use the formula software to manually add these two channels to your existing channels or just try out the firmware update,hopefully some thing will work for you.i found the details on lyngsat for those 2 art channels to be slightly different to the way the humax saves them.

What are the main differences in the new firmware and have you had any problems with it as i hear it is only Beta at the mo ?

new firmware works fine as far as i can see,haven't really noticed much difference between it and the version before,i was hoping it would list all the individual premiere channels correctly but doesn't seem to have done that.

Okay, got the new firmware and sure enough Art World Cup 1 and 2 are there.
It is telling me that it is scrambled or not available, which one is it.

I have the ART card 1-4 so i am assuming i cant get these 2 channels !!
