I`m toying with the idea of buying an elvis (for recreation only of course!) but I`m a bit concerned that my computer is below spec as it is a very old and slow steam driven thing. Is there a minimum spec required for the elvis and accompanying software??

Don't think so David, I would think that the only prerequisite is a working COM port. MP6 and later editions of the software work under windows 95 and 98/98se, plus there is DOS based software for some of the card types. I would say that if it's a Pentium you should be OK.
