I understand there are handful of HD satellite receivers out in the market and some of our members would have bought them too. I know we all love new toys and cant resit to be the first one to taste or try them if we can afford.

Our members will be glad to read & share information of those receivers.

Why not write your experience with your receiver?

Good or bad; the information you provide will help other members in deciding and buying the right stuff to suit individual taste and budget.

Thank you, M8s.

Dont be so impatient - its brand new technology, and very few folks have / can be bothered with HDTV kit at the moment.

For example, my TV is just over 2 years old. I hope it will last at least another 10 years before replacement, and only then will I be thinking about HDTV receiver :D

Theres a lot of folk not in the slightest interested in HDTV receivers atm.

Plus there are a couple of other threads giving reports on different receivers already, it will be a while before we get any large scale ownership.

Thank you for your responses.

There are many interested in buying HD receivers but confused about them and dont want to pay big amount (say about £300) and have teething problems.

I hope this thread will gradually grow with lots of comments!
