Italian TV at 5W

Have been installing Italian FTA TV for friends & relatives as a hobby for many years (Hotbird).

In the May edition of What Sat mag, there is an article on Italian TV and appears that further FTA channels now availiable at Eutelsat 5W, which I would like to view.

These channels are DVB-S2, therefore I purchased an Openbox S10 HD, as it had good review in magazine, and was cheap (£42).

However have been unable to obtain these channels, although can receive the DVB-S channels (French) okay on this satellite. The Openbox can receive the FTA HD English channels at 28.2E as well as the FTA HD channels at Hotbird.

Has anyone been able to receive these channels at 5W or know of any problems in this respect?.

They are packaged multistreams destined for Italian DTT and are not viewable using the mainstream domestic Satellite gear.

I believe that there are a couple of PC Cards, however, that can handle the ACM/VCM Modulation techniques employed.

The TBS 6925 card can handle these streams no problem i have tested them myself on the card

Thank you for the fast response to my query.

I note that Amazon sell the TBS6925 card and I will consider this further.
