the penalties were good shame that trezaqet (excuse spelling) missed it as i would have liked to see it go to the last penalty each

Yes, well done Italy, but I think that the French were a better team on the night and what posessed Zinedine Zidane to do what he did, I really don't know. The other player obviously said something, but whatever he said, that was a silly response from one of the most respected players in the world.

Well if the TV pundits were correct then I do have a small amount of sympathy as nipple tweeking is one of the most painful things that I have ever had, although I cannot compare it to having my b*ll*cks stamped on.
However that was unfortunately a reaction which has has tainted his whole career.

Same here, I don't lose my temper 'O'-red but when that was done to me on a football pitch I punched them. I would do the same again.

Feel really sorry for Zidane, amazing how the fourth official can see that but miss all the other incidents!

Well done Italy and Zidane did deserve to go off, that's it for another four years. Maybe some consolation for the Italians who will find out what's happening at their clubs tomorrow.

I am a british italian about 100 italians from my town all gathered in a small cafe to watch it and the atmosphere was great. Afterwards we marched the street singing songs and the national anthem, and the police had to corner off all roads we passed and we chanted ":-shh:-shh:-shh:-shh you police" in italian, and they had no idea

Later on we went to a private bar and all had a lock in and drank them dry, afterwards the younger ones went to a nightclub and here i am at 3am almost just back from it all, it was awesome the atmosphere was the best ive ever seen, well done italy.

P.S zinadine zidane you should be ashamed of yourself you silly billy

Did you see the image of Zidane walking past the cup and fading into the tunnel? One can very easily go from being a semi-god into going straight to hell
