Hamilton won, Alonso was 2nd and 1.5 seconds behind.The Ferraris of Massa and Raikkonen did not have the best of times, as Massa was third and only under pressure at times from team mate Raikkonen. The Finn, having been overtaken in the first corner by Heidfeld (who would eventually retire) and Kovalainen, had a more eventful race. Raikkonenn would, however, come in at 4th.Kovalainen came in 5th, and Trulli, Webber, and new boy Vettel were 6th, 7th, and 8th – an achievement in a race where a lot of the action was in the midfield.<a href="http://www.formula1.com/archive/driver/2007.html" target="_blank">Drivers’ Championship</a> –Hamilton now has a full 10pt advantage on Alonso, and the Spaniard is under enormous pressure to defend his title – 58 to 48.
