http://www.formula1.com/race/result/760/24.html For the second Grand Prix in-a-row, Michael Schumacher secured pole in Magny-Cours, and Felipe Massa also repeated his Indy showing of 2nd on the grid to form another all-Ferrari front row. On the second row, Fernando Alonso is 3rd after another tough looking weekend so far (having gone off-track repeatedly in practice sessions), while Toyota driver Jarno Trulli duplicated his USA race finish of 4th in qualifying, and the Italian needs only to turn his head around on Sunday to see his team mate Ralf Schumacher residing in 5th on the grid. Kimi Raikkonen, now McLaren’s main focus following the sensational departure of Juan Pablo Montoya this week, qualified in 6th, and replacement team mate Pedro de la Rosa was 8th. Giancarlo Fisichella finds himself in a McLaren sandwich in 7th. Futher down the grid, Jenson Button continues to suffer embarrassingly in his Honda, qualifying in 19th, but will be 18th on the grid due to the engine change of Nico Rosberg who lines up just behind him. Of noted surprise also was the dismal display of the BMW-Sauber team, who in Saturday morning practice clocked the top two times, but in qualifying fell well short – Heidfeld in 12th (11th in grid), Villeneuve in 18th (17th on grid).
