However, in the out-lap after a tyre change, the Spaniard went off in what appeared to be a suspension failure.</span></em></p><p> </p><p><em><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'">These two big name DNF’s, as well as the earlier retirement of Giancarlo Fisichella, helped to produce highly unpredicted podium finishes for McLaren driver da la Rosa, in 2nd, and Sauber-BMW pilot Nick Heidfeld, in 3rd.</span></em></p><p> </p><p><em><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'">The experienced Barrichello, Coulthard, and Ralf Schumacher came in in 4th,5th , and 6th respectively, while debutant Robert Kubica capped of an impressive introduction to Formula 1 with 7th.
