Live Premiership Football on Fox Turk on 42e & 33e

Hi!!

I've just noticed on _http://liveonsat.com/ that there are many live Premiership games being shown on Fox Turk during August. Its free to air on 42e and 33e. Does anyone else know anymore about this? Is taking over from TV8 on 42e? Will it stay free to air? Will it continue on after August? How easy is it to get 42e or 33e in the UK? What size dish, etc? Hopefully its not short lived.

I can pick it up perfect here on 42e

just found out that they will be either biss or on 33e solely from my buddy in ankara

I've watched Premiership footy on this channel last year,never had problems with it with regards to encryption,just the commentry,so funny,loads of turkish blabber then the players names in english

I guess the worry is that as Fox (same owner as Sky) has the channel they may choose a new encryption method, or choose not to broadcast on the west beam of turksat 42 at all.

Hope I'm wrong!

Well, I managed to get the Villa v Liverpool game today on Fox Turk 33e. 42e is east beam only as I suspected.
33e is an interesting one. They've used a weird symbol rate. For some reason my TM1000CI struggled with it. Switched over to a TM1500CI super, and no probs at all. It isn't the highest powered TP here in Brum though.

Here's rooting for BCFC against Chelsea tomorrow (OK I'm dreaming but what is life without dreams...)

Yes, not pretty, but served a purpose. We couldn't, or at least had little chance of winning it, but holding them off was possible. ManU were impressive, very few teams worldwide with such an armoury of skill.

Aside from that, did you get football on Foxturk in the end?

Apparently the Fulham v Boro game was not on fox turk ????
it is advertised on there website so what is going on, any idea ?

do they have different programmes on different satellites ?

Fox Turk has 2 channels on 42E. The football is on the east beam and cannot be received in western Europe.

Fox Turk Europe on the west beam shows entertainment shows when the football is on

Should i be able to pick up Eurobird 33e wih an 80cm dish in Bracknell near Windsor ????

I am struglling to find the satellite at all
