LNB and dish for ASTRA 2

Hello, I am a real novice when it comes to satellites. I have been reading about dishes and LNBs for the last couple of days, the more I read the more I get confused, maybe someone can help.

I am looking to setup a satellite dish, and receiver to receive ASTRA 2 free broadcasting channels, I have the following in mind, would they work?

Dish: Triax TD 110
LNB: TRIAX TSI 003 Single Universal LNB
Receiver: Dreambox 500S

Not looking for a fancy setup, just a simple one.

Some of the hardware looks good although I think the dish maybe a little too small for Astra2d & South. Local knowledge is always best though.

Thanks for looking into this and your feedback. I was aware ASTRA 2D might be difficult to get here, but I can do without it.

It depends where you are in Finland to some extent but a 110cm dish should get you most channels nicely off Astra 2A and 2B north beam and Eurobird. You won't get Astra 2D and possibly some of the weaker Astra 2A and 2B south channels. However, as there aren't many free channels on 2A or 2B maybe that's not an issue for you.

If you are looking to get some of the weaker channels, I've found the Inverto Black Ultra LNB is worth spending a bit more on. However, no matter how good the LNB is, you'd be better going for a slightly bigger dish as the first priority, like a 1.3 or even a 1.5m. But again that really depends on where you are in Finland and if you want the south beam channels.
