can i use the output voltage from this box to supply power to my other box as its the correct voltage or can i use an external power supply

No satellite gear here, but at my parents' house there is:
Konig 35cm camping dish (horrible, too small)
80cm Silvercrest (lidl)on 13E and 19.2E and a Technomate 5300D+ USB Super.

it would be awkward... You'd have to make sure both boxes were listening on the same polarity and for that matter, same band. You'd have to adjust both just to change channels, and scans would be horrible...

You could either tap off the bias voltage of your receiver you don't like or use an external power supply, but you need to use it in conjuction with a 75 ohm bias tee such as this one.. _www.aeroflex.com/AMS/INMET/PDFILES/8875F.pdf

You just feed the RF normally from your LNB to your receiver with the bias tee imbetween at the receiver end.

What receiver have you got, just a thought, there isn't an option to turn the bias voltage off in the menu is there?

Just thiking about what mich181189 said, if your using a external power supply, your either gonna be stuck on Vertical (~13volts) or Horizontal Channels (~18volts).

the bias circuits in typical sat receivers are quite redimentary, I bet you could find someone willing to fix it.
