Hi,

Installing a new dish, it will have 3 satellites on it, using a technomate lnb switch with 4 lnb entrances and 1 entrance for the receiver, obviously, I want to use the least cable possible, how close can I place the lnb switch to the dish so i only use the one cable to reach the receiver, the dish and receiver will be about 15 metres apart. Also do I need to get a specific LNB switch to receive 4K images or will a traditional HD one work ok?

The switch can be as close to the dish as you like. There's no such thing as a 4K or HD DiSEqC switch - video format makes no difference.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

If it has a waterproof case it can be strapped on the boom arm. The closest Ive had has been 6cms though that was inside a Channel Master omt cover.
