loss of HD sound

Hi

I've lost sound on each freesat HD channel. When I select an HD channel on the EPG, there is a slight pause, a "click" and then video but no sound. All other SD channels are OK. In addition, when I play back a recorde HD program, I get video bit no sound. Any ideas, please.

How is the Gufsat connected to the TV ............. HDMI or SCART?

Try removing and re-connecting the cables.

I find that occasionally I get no sound when changing to an HD channel from an SD channel. My workaround is to switch the TV off and back on again. My connection is also by HDMI and I suspect that it is because the sound is AC3 (or Dolby Digital) on the HD channels and the TV is not synching properly.

Great news; I had the HDMI audio set to dolby. Reset to stereo and now I have HD sound!
