Hello, hope this is the corect place to post.

I have sky+ in the livingroom, i have installed a distribution system in the loft and ran a digital coxal cable to each room and used a tv ariel socket on each end. I have the RF out 2 plugged into a wall tv socket which then runs into the loft into the distribution system (which supports magic eye and sky plus) in each room the magic eye is light and the picture if fine, but i cannot turn over.

Does anyone know why?

Have you gone into the installers menu and turned on the 9v under RF outlets? This needs to be turned on for the eyes to work, i know that the distribution amp powers the eye, but this seems to turn on the IR commands at the outlet.

Try the eye in the back of the Skybox, at least then you can tell if it's a Skybox/eye issue or a cabling/distibution amp issue.

Just tryed it in the back and it worked fine. I wil have to get in the loft and check the distribution system, cannot understand why it wont turn over as the picture is fine and the light is on the eye.

Check that the cable centre wire is a good connection and not just connecting slightly. An RF signal will jump a slight gap but a 9v DC definitely won't.

Similarly, check that there are no stray wispy bits of coaxial outer shield shorting to the centre wire.

Try bridging the amplifier, connecting the input with one of the outputs, it may well be the amp return path which isn't working, I've known them to break.
