Maybe I was thinking of another Medya TV , formerly Med TV, a short- lived Kurdish station operating outside of Turkey some years back.

Relocated to Belgium & was succeeded by Medya TV - licence revoked by the Belgian authorities February 2004.

Succeeded by Roj TV based in Denmark.
