Kenmore, for years I used a spectrum analyser to align my dish. When that stopped working I looked for a modern device with a fast refresh rate for the spectrum display. I settled on a Promax HD Ranger Eco. Even with the whole bandwidth displayed from the LNB, the refresh rate is good for dish alignment. In addition to the spectrum analyser function this device will lock and display the contents of a mux. Mine works for DVB-T, DVB-T2, DVB-S and DVB-S2. Mine cost about £1000 bought direct from a supplier in Spain. Check PROMAX for info on their current offerings. SimonE

Horizon shut down their website upgrades a while ago, there is a thread here here one member is posting the last firmware available.

The USB meter does have a manual setting in the menus, so it's actually not entirely obsolete, just takes slightly longer.

Horizon HDSM USB - Latest Firmware and software

Horizon have closed and stopped all support for their sat meters Does anyone have a copy of the latest firmware, satellite lists and the software to install onto my Horizon HDSM v3 USB Thanks Craig

I have the SatEdit application that was used to create the files for all Birdogs on the Birdog website except the Ultra. I believe it will work with all Horizon meters except the Ultra equivalent. When it was given to me by Horizon I was told I could freely distribute it. Here is the Dropbox link. I would recommend adding it to the files (exe and manual) download page since I don't know how long the link will work. It is a stand-alone executable (no installation required).

I discovered this package on one of my old hard drive backups. This has many configuration files as well as the SatEdit.exe file. My Horizon was the serial port version and I used a USB to serial converter.
