I have two sat receivers running from 1 Sky dish and quatro LNB

System 1 is a Humax FoxsatHDR. this system works fine.

System 2 is a Lab Gear HD box. This is the one giving me the problem.

I cannot get ITV London, or any of the other ITV channels except the +1 versions.

When I check the signal from the transponder 10758 it shows no signal, but it shows a signal on the Humax system.

Any ideas please as I am at a loss.

Quattro LNB?

Are you sure?

Perhaps it's a Quad?

Anyway, have you checked that all the other parameters for the missing TP are correctly stored?

eg Symbol Rate 22000, Polarity V ?

The Foxsat will find stuff in Freesat mode because it picks up Channel data from a single default Transponder.

The Labgear is a basic DVB S non-platform Receiver so you will either need to add/edit stored TP parameters or set a blind/auto/network scan running.

Yes sorry, I did mean a quad LNB. I have tried adding the transponder manually, but it still shows no signal.

Have you tried swapping the receivers around to see if the results are the same on all feeds?

No I Haven't, but I will now. Funny how you never think of the obvious, until somebody reminds you.

Well I have tried the Lab Gear set on all 4 cable runs and I still get no signal on the 10758 V 22000 transponder.

My Humxax recorder show 85% strength 100% quality on the same transponder.

Ok.

Next step is to check and confirm the LNB settings, which should be Universal, Universal 1 or Universal 9750/10600, depending upon the syntax your Labgear uses.

Assuming that the Lab Gear works fine if you replaced the quad with the single LNB that was there, then it might be worth trying a different make of quad.

I have solved the problem fellas, I bought another humax freesat recorder, everything works fine now.

Put the Lab Gear in the bin where it belongs.

Ah, well, a result of a sort!

Sorry we couldn't rectify the problem for you in a somewhat less drastic way.

I hope you were able to exchange the HDR and weren't forced to shell out again.
