Okay. I going to buy a Quad LNB.

So I can stop trying to help you to set it up with the existing LNB, under Unicable/JESS/dCSS/... ?

(It is the same protocol, just umpty more userbands, instead of just 8 userbands. So I would not expect to see any change.
When he uses a userband <=8, then the it would not matter which one he chooses? Or are you expecting a change, by this?)
I just saw EN50607 on the site with the LNB details you linked to earlier, and how it was needed for userbands 9-24. I wondered if not using EN50607 limited the LNB to userbands 1-8, and as the Canal receiver is set to higher userbands it may have caused it to no longer work :confused

I've never used Unicable (or the many other names the system has) so I may also be talking nonsense, it wouldn't be the first time! :lol:

@ozumo :
If you want to know more:

EN50607 (JESS) is developed by Jultec.
Some info on this one-cable channel stacking system is on their website (in german): Jultec GmbH Technische Infos
Their technical info site (with many sub-sites): JULTEC Technische Infos

IMHO, the german sat-forums have the most expertise of unicable setups. I learned a lot from reading there. But I've never used Unicable myself as well...

I want to thank you all for your help. Now both receivers work without problems. I solved this by replacing the SCR LNB with the Quad LNB. This was instructive and I would like to thank you for the good help!
