I've been reading on line that most channels on Astra 19 and Hotbird 13 have switched to Nag3

My question is, when I look at king of sat it reports multiple encryptions listed for some channels, are they transmitting with all of these encryptions? Some channels have clear listed with other encryptions does this mean I should be able to receive them with out a decrypt method?

MTV Entertainment
BetaCrypt
Cryptoworks
Nagravision 3
VideoGuard

Out of all of the encryption method which have be compromised?
BetaCrypt
Cryptoworks
Irdeto 2
Nagravision 2
Nagravision 3
VideoGuard
MediaGuard 2
Viaccess 3.0

Yes they transmit with all the encryption streams - its quite obvious on things like dreamboxes where it gives you a graphic of what encryptions are in use.

BetaCrypt - went years ago
Cryptoworks - some keys known
Irdeto 2 - some providers open on files
Nagravision 2 - blown apart
Nagravision 3 - nope
VideoGuard - nope
MediaGuard 2 - sort of broken
Viaccess 3.0 - nope

Just wanted to add that the different encryption are needed so that different providers who have adapted a certain encryption would enable their subscribers to open the specific channel, if it is included in their subscription.
For example Mezzo channel on Hot Bird 13E has:
Viaccess
Irdeto
Nagravision

Viaccess was used by TPS (wonder why it is still on, although TPS has left)
Irdeto is used by Nova (Greece)
Nagravision is used by Cyfra Plus (Poland)

Not sure what you mean here, but if a channel has any kind of encryption, then you cant watch it in the clear without a subscription or via emu, keys.........

EDIT: I just had a look and seen that some channels are listed as with encryption and in as clear, The ones I noticed were channels like XXX that run promos in the clear, but otherwise remain encrypted.

There may also be another reason for this, I'm not that familiar with the kingofsat website.
