Spoke too soon. Signal totally gone on the 1.8m... though the dish is still in place. T90 is providing backup...My poor dish is getting a right battering at the moment - still in alignment but wobbles enough to pixelate the image.
how is the signal in normal weather.?!?Mine - lowered and chained down to weather the pending storm gusts approaching.
I bet it's ok
lol lolIt might blow your arc into place
mind that baby m8 theres not to many of them lying around now, theres still quite a few cm 1.2,s around but there was never as many cm 1.8 metres around, probaly cause most folk did not have the space etcthis will make you laugh, around 5pm, all the wobbling about my 1.8 took today, the nut holding the end of the jack worked itself free and dish went flopping to the east! CRASHHHHHH!
it could only happen to me.
and there was my 24" QARL sitting on the kitchen table - if only i'd had one more day (to fit it) - still, no damage to dish. could be worse.
Fitted the 24inch jack today - and after some tinkering with dish angle and motor - i am now fully tracking the ARC!!!!!
I moved it to the left side and will keep it left as its full closed on 45east at the mo - and will keep it there due to the pending storms.
FINALLY!!!!!
oh, and my pole is vindicated......
anything in particular...?and signal level readings...
