That I call LNB focal point, is a point just behind LNB 's cap when I've got the best signal possible. The other point is the deeper point of the sub focus.

LNB focal point
I see. In fact, LNB has not focal point but phase center. The main reflector (in your case, CM 120) has a focal point. SUB has 2 focal points.

Ok, lean is corrected.
Still at 80% SQ on 4.8e with the weakest frequency ( 11747 V ) without Fibo.
Haven't time to check performance with Fibo, but I take another picture with Fibo Sub and feedhorn, LNB focal point is 14cm from the middle of the subView attachment 157833
Whilst it is not absolute, most domestic Gregorian satellite systems will have the faces of the two reflectors more or less parallel to each other (since it keeps the feedhorn from creating a shadow) Can you take a picture (far away) of the side on view ?

So, approximately where red circles, all 3 focal points are located. F1 is a focal point of the main reflector. F2 and F3 are focal points of the SUB. F1 and F2 must be co-located. And phase center of the feed must be co-located with F3. 1000031875a.jpg

So here is (probably!) the final setup: Channel Master 1.2m Rimantized and motorized with the best LNB I've tested till now: an old Triax 0.3db

I'm a bit disappointed about Fibo setup, I haven't succeed to have more db than this setup despite a loooooottt of hours to test ...

But I'm still very satisfied about this setup, a good gain compare to the original setup, especially on Nilesat and Badr !

@AtOM13 I think you do not get better results in dual-reflector system is somewhere between the FIBO feedhorn and LNB. It is very important to have the perfect connection between them. But, any way, it is good you are having lots of fun.

@RimaNTSS yes I'm convicted too, but I didn't succeed despite many hours of testing... I'm sure about my settings when I'm in original setup but something probably missing when switch to Fibo... but I didn't give up and I will try later on my Triax 100cm and probably on my 150cm Laminas.

Next step is now move the CM 1.2m to its final place near the roof :confused

@AtOM13 - if you have the possibility try the following LNB : Megasat Diavolo Single LNB
Better cross polarisation then all other LNB (26 db), very suitable for 28,2E (same freq diff polarization), but don't believe 0,1 db noise figure. And also very cheap.

@humaxboy1 why not ! Another member told me that's a good LNB.
I'm waiting for the last Triax LNB for testing

I clean the dish this afternoon but a mark doesn't dissappear ... It makes me some minutes to understand what was this mark :)
