Hi All! Perhaps some of you have Prodelin antennas in use and you know that original Prodelin feedhorn is not very friendly to connect to common LBNs (perhaps to any LNBs), in fact you will need some kind if expensive adapter. So I would like to share pretty easy way how to marry any LNB to Prodelin feedhorn. First of all you need to find piece ~10mm aluminum and, make it 45mm round and cut 20mm hole in it. Then drill and tap 6x 4mm holes to match holes in the feedhorn. Then you cut the feedhorn from any LNB you choose and make sure the adapter goes on top of the rest of feed of the LNB. Make sure that connection between LNB and adapter is sealed to prevent moisture coming in. I had several Prodelin dishes and couple of original feedhorns, also used in the same way adopted LNB, and results were quite OK. I've made this adapter for Prodelin feedhorn, and anybody from this forum is interested can get it. First come first served. For price of shipping you will get all you see on attached pictures except the cover of the LNB ( I broke it and garbaged it). If you will need also LNB holder (picture #5), it will cost you some money though. as INOX clamp costs some bucks. Anyway, this is just a thought of mine about Prodelin feedhorn.
