N00b looking for some help!

Hi all
This is my first post so plz be nice, Im total noob to the satelite comunity but am really eager to learn as it is my new hobby , I have a GB SAT 2CIO reciever with an irdeto 2 cam and I wondered if the reciever could be patched to recieve any channels? or maybe get a cam that can be flashed as I found out the irdeto 2 cant be. Any info would be good. What would you do with my setup? once again total n00b so be nice

Well although this is a self help forum what I can tell you is that there does not appear to be any unofficial support for your stb but as you have a spare cam slot I would have thought a Dragon cam which I think is now known as a Trex would fit the bill if not your pocket, if you do a search of the forum there is a list available of what it is possible to open using one, however I do not know if it compatible with your stb. You will need to do further research before investing in anything.
