please help me on several issues regarding this receiver

S/W build Date: aug 13 2004

I need:
1- a new firmware so that i can change the background and the software
2-any patches or updates
3- is it possibe to convert / update my receiver to another machine ?

i have been trying to upload different patches and software but with no success
