hi hi i got a db 7020 connected to a router with Gemini installed and mgcamd 130. hack sat has been a bit slow lately so i thought i would ftp the latest keys. but it will not seem to connect using dcc. also web interface has stopped working just comes up with log in screen but wont connect. the db connects to the Internet ok as i tried installing a game and it worked. i also ping it from the router and all was fine. so the problem seems to be from the laptop to the dream box. when i connect using dcc it say socket not connected. previously this evening i was trying to connect a sat meter to the laptop and i changed one of the com ports so i don't know if i have messed something up if u got any ideas please reply as im now stumped.

Did you cheked the hardware itself?
Maybe the socket has problems or there's somthing wrong with pins.

The software may also has problems, too.

Have you tried with your Firewall disabled? Are you running Peer Guardian?

Have you checked the IP settings in DCC (I don't use it so can't help with specifics)?

Have you tried using an FTP program e.g. FileZilla, or Internet Explorer, to FTP the files over?
