I've lowered mine right down to 2000 and while it does take a fair bit longer to complete the scan it does find most of the transponders on each sat. I normally use DVB Dream, not sure if it's a limitation of that or the hardware but it won't find transponders with a SR lower than 1000 when scanning a transponder list.</blockquote>
