New DAB aerial

Hello,

I have a communal system with an amplifier and a TV antenna and I would like to add a DAB aerial possibly with also FM capability.
Which antenna and switch should I buy?

Thanks

Bamboccio, I bought my FM and DAB aerials from Blake UK. They are well made and to a design handed to them by Labgear.

If you only want the stations for your local area a simple dipole would work.

ANTIFERENCE FM 'Omni' + DAB Combined 1764318987520.webp

BLAKE Masthead Diplexer VHF/UHF1764319172348.webp

85-230MHz/470-694MHz Triple filtered @70dB

ANTIFERENCE F Diplexer UHF/VHF+DC1764320123954.webp

Thank you - in terms of diplexer I can get either the Blake or the Antiference?

Thanks
Yes, they both do the job for a combination DAB/FM antenna.

I am part of a group who look out for FM or DAB dx. I have a 5 element DAB AE and a 4 element FM AE on a 360degs rotator at around 10m agl.

When you buy a DAB aerial you need to check whether it covers the whole band. Some don't but the Blake ones do.

Thank you to both. I now think that if I put it up I will end ep in that cowboy corner. I better take some photos of the setup.
Also somehow the signal of the tv aerial seem to drop out at kind of regulat interval when I watch HD channels. So I wonder if I will loose even more signal with the diplexer.

Insertion loss of a UHF/VHF diplexer is normally around 1db, so not normally critical, but if you have existing issues with some signals (Hd channels require a more robust signal), then you may need to look at either a higher gain UHF antenna, or a check on alignment. If it's an amplified system, then a check on the distribution amplifier would be a good idea, once the power supply starts to fail, signal quality will rapidly diminish, I've replaced quite a few since the hot summer months.

I have a communal system with an amp and the cable is very old and there was water ingress at some point. I already have a joint in the cable where I can put the diplexer. I will take some photos this week.
Thank you!

This is the aplifier. I will take the aerial tomorrow. I have checked the HD channels and there were no drips i have a Samsung TV I can take a photo of the signal strength if that is meaningful.

I am waiting for spring before doing anything with this. I am not sure if I would gain enough on the radio and not loose something of substance on the TV.
