Yes, they both do the job for a combination DAB/FM antenna.Thank you - in terms of diplexer I can get either the Blake or the Antiference?
Thanks
Insertion loss of a UHF/VHF diplexer is normally around 1db, so not normally critical, but if you have existing issues with some signals (Hd channels require a more robust signal), then you may need to look at either a higher gain UHF antenna, or a check on alignment. If it's an amplified system, then a check on the distribution amplifier would be a good idea, once the power supply starts to fail, signal quality will rapidly diminish, I've replaced quite a few since the hot summer months.Thank you to both. I now think that if I put it up I will end ep in that cowboy corner. I better take some photos of the setup.
Also somehow the signal of the tv aerial seem to drop out at kind of regulat interval when I watch HD channels. So I wonder if I will loose even more signal with the diplexer.
what uhf 5 element suport long dab and fm ?I am part of a group who look out for FM or DAB dx. I have a 5 element DAB AE and a 4 element FM AE on a 360degs rotator at around 10m agl.
When you buy a DAB aerial you need to check whether it covers the whole band. Some don't but the Blake ones do.
