Probably will be CH. Of course Seca1 was well hacked in ITV digital boxes last time round. Personally I'll be surprised if it gets off the ground, if what I've read is true. The new encrypted channels will have to be broadcast via DTT multiplexes 1 and A, as the BBC and Freeview multiplexes are licensed for FTA only. The capacity on 1 and A is such that there's room for only 4 channels so any increase will degrade the signal.
Added to that I don't think current Freeview adapters can be used for pay-TV.
I have the feeling that this will be a damp squib, it won't have a great take up, but will probably slow down the sale of freeview boxes for a period of time, I can see why the BBC have got the hump.
PS. It'll have to be in the later encryption, I can't see them being stupid enough to release in the old one.

I would like them, can they really use new encryption on an old box?
Has anyone had a look what the encryption actually is used?
Also perhaps this is just a trial, maybe there will be more channels later should it be a success.
