New Lnb changer

Today I almost finished rebuilding the SG-2500A, the end stops at +/-135° and the switching cams of the internal zero point switch were made.
One cam had to be removed and the other lengthened to maintain GOTO X functionality.
If GOTO -34° is entered at the JPC posi, the motor runs to -136°, if GOTO +34° is entered at the JPC posi, the motor runs to +136° and if GOTO 0° is entered at the JPC posi, the engine at 0° Regardless of where the motor is, you can return to the 0° position by entering "Move to reference position".
The low GOTO X default values at the JPC-Posi come from the divider ratio of the Cmos 4040 (1:4, example 34*4=136) which was installed in the motor.
Tomorrow I will test the divider ratio 2:1 again on the Cmos 4040, then with a default of 68° the motor would turn to 136°.

SG9120-SG6000-copy.gif

looking for info on diseqc motors, I found the SG9120, it has a metal wheel, toothed 360 degrees.

but it is probably no longer manufactured and can only be found in the USA.
Anyone know this model?

Not the specific model, but that wheel looks very familiar, like a sprag wheel from a motorcycle starter mechanism.

Knowing which bike might have the same dimension wheel is going to be a long process.

Remark that in those diseqc rotors is a worm gear
The starter wheel has strait theeth

Whilst I've not taken apart many HtoH motors, the main gears on ones I have seen are straight cut, with the worm drive offset by pitch/rotation diameter to accomodate. I will have to look closer for any undercutting another time.

One Darkmotor as an example.

I took into account the remarks of FEMI and the experiences of FHO to simplify the use of the lnb-changer, I simplified the changer menu.
I kept only the GOTO REF and GOTO X.Y order (USALS mode) with a divide by 2 on the motor pulses I can display from -160° to + 160° and the 16 possible positions are displayed and memorized in the EEPROM.
this way of working is only suitable for motors accepting USALS or GOTO X.Y commands (almost all!!)

The one on the left was part of a kit supplied by Wineguard systems for a while, I think I saw a couple in East Europe a decade or so ago.

i put the divider by 2 card in my rotor (it s not an technirotor but schematic is equal)
i fixed the board with glue on top of relays .
the box closes !!!

now we can set -160 degrees to + 160 degrees with the original firmware !!!!

the divider mounted on a technirotor modified by Trust, everything is OK, thank's to JPC.

does anyone have a diseqc rotor that no longer works inside which has the sprocket on 360
whether it's metal or plastic, it doesn't matter
the model of the engine and the one mentioned here
I'd be interested

Thank you

you can ask to TRUST , but i can also gives you my previous firmware but mod your actual motor with my divider card is easy and better !!

try to send me the fw
because opening the engine is a bit of work
I have to order the programmer first

Nice job ! I like to order one , do you also have the components ?

@Trust

Hi my name is Andrea; I interested to a lnb changer for my Prodelin 1,8 mt with this lnb configuration:
- 2 KU LNBf (one linear, one circular)
- 2 Cband: one Linear & one circular,
- 1 KA
Can you built one for me?

What kind of solution do you suggest for me?

I’ll use a Dreambox1959 positioner.

Can you write me a message?

Thanks a lot!
